EFFECT: The Instantaneous and complete vanish of a twenty-four inch bouquet of LARGE FLOWERS and the FLOWER POT. This effect can be performed while completely surrounded, at close range and without benefit of any cover.

PERFORMANCE:  The following presentation has been audience tested for maximum effect. Cautioning the audience that this is indeed the "Fastest Trick in the World", the performer advises them to observe closely or they will miss the effect. He approaches the Fastest with a pistol cocked for single action at his side. Calling upon someone in the audience to count to three, he calls attention to the Fastest by pointing to the flowers and the pot (he actually releases the wings). On the count of "three", fires the gun and says "Its Gone!" The firing of the gun makes the audience blink, and adds to the mystery of the vanish.

This effect can also be presented using a thin silk to cover the bush (although no cover is actually needed).

CURTAIN CALL:   Beware of inferior imitations of this effect.  This trick was invented by Al DeLage and he granted the EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS to manufacture his effect to H. Marshall and Co., Inc.  Over the years, Horace Marshall made improvements upon the original model and registered the rights to this effect with the Magic Dealers Association as an exclusive Marshall effect.
